ان دنوں بہت سے لوگ اس سوال کا جواب جاننا چاہتے ہیں کہ *کیا حج کی نیت سے بیت اللّٰہ کا پیدل سفر کرنا صحیح ہے جبکہ آج سفرکی بہت ساری سہولیات میسر ہیں* ؟

اس سوال کا جواب احادیث رسول میں تلاش کرتے ہیں تو اس سلسلے میں متعدد احادیث ملتی ہیں جن میں مذکور ہے کہ عہد رسالت میں بعض صحابی اور صحابیہ نے بیت اللّٰہ شریف تک پیدل چل کر حج کرنے کی نذر مانی تھی لیکن جب خبر آپ ﷺ تک پہنچی تو آپ نے انہیں پیدل سفر کرنے سے منع کیا اور سواری استعمال کرنے کا حکم دیا ۔ ان احادیث میں سے دو تین یہاں ذکر کرتا ہوں ۔
*پہلی حدیث :* انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں: 
نذرَتِ امرأةٌ أن تمشيَ إلى بيتِ اللَّهِ فسُئِلَ نبيُّ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عليهِ وسلَّمَ عن ذلِكَ فقالَ إنَّ اللَّهَ لغَنيٌّ عن مَشيِها ، مُروها فلتَركَبْ(صحيح الترمذي:1536)
ترجمہ: *ایک عورت نے نذر مانی کہ وہ بیت اللّٰہ تک (پیدل) چل کر جائے گی، نبی اکرم ﷺ سے اس سلسلے میں سوال کیا گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: اللّہ تعالیٰ اس کے (پیدل) چلنے سے بے نیاز ہے، اسے حکم دو کہ وہ سوار ہو کر جائے۔*

*دوسری حدیث:* انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں: 
مرَّ النَّبيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بشيخٍ كبيرٍ يتَهادى بينَ ابنيْهِ فقالَ: ما بالُ هذا. قالوا: يا رسولَ اللَّهِ نذرَ أن يمشي. قالَ: إنَّ اللَّهَ لغنيٌّ عن تعذيبِ هذا نفسَهُ. قالَ فأمرَهُ أن يرْكب(صحيح الترمذي:1537)
ترجمہ: *نبی اکرم ﷺ ایک بوڑھے کے قریب سے گزرے جو اپنے دو بیٹوں کے سہارے (حج کے لیے) چل رہا تھا، آپ نے پوچھا: کیا معاملہ ہے ان کا؟ لوگوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول ! انہوں نے (پیدل) چلنے کی نذر مانی ہے، آپ نے فرمایا: اللہ عزوجل اس کے اپنی جان کو عذاب دینے سے بے نیاز ہے، پھر آپ نے اس کو سوار ہونے کا حکم دیا۔*

*تیسری حدیث:* عقبہ بن عامر جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں:
أنَّهُ قالَ للنَّبيِّ صلَّى اللَّهُ عليْهِ وسلَّمَ إنَّ أختي نذرت أن تمشيَ إلى البيتِ , فقالَ إنَّ اللَّهَ لا يصنعُ بِمَشيِ أختِكَ إلى البيتِ شيئًا(صحيح أبي داود:3304)
ترجمہ: *انہوں نے نبی اکرمﷺ سے کہا: میری بہن نے بیت اللہ پیدل جانے کی نذر مانی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تمہاری بہن کے پیدل بیت اللہ جانے کا اللہ کوئی ثواب نہ دے گا۔*
مذکورہ بالا مسئلہ کو سمجھنے کے لئے یہ تین احادیث ہی کافی ہیں ،
 ان احادیث کی روشنی میں ہمیں *سب سے پہلی اور اہم ترین بات* یہ معلوم ہوتی ہے کہ سواری اور سہولت ہوتے ہوئے کسی کو دور دراز مقامات سے بیت اللہ کا پیدل سفر نہیں کرنا چاہئے، اگر کوئی ایساکرتا ہے تو وہ رسول کے حکم کی خلاف ورزی کرتا ہے۔ 

*دوسری بات یہ ہے کہ* جو لوگ یہ سمجھتے ہیں بیت اللہ کا پیدل سفر کرنا عبادت ہے اور اس پر زیادہ اجر ملتا ہے تو انہیں معلوم ہونا چاہئے کہ یہ خیال غلط ہے اور اللہ تعالی اس عمل سے بے نیاز ہے۔ 
*تیسری بات یہ ہے کہ* سواری ہوتے ہوئے بیت اللہ کا پیدل سفر کرنا جسم کو تکلیف ومشقت میں ڈالنا ہے جس سے اسلام نے ہمیں منع کیا ہے اور اللہ ایسے تکلیف والے عمل سے بے نیازہے۔

*چوتھی بات یہ ہے کہ* بیت اللہ کا مشقت بھرا پیدل سفر خصوصاً اس زمانے میں انسان اس لئے کرتا ہے کہ اسے حج کا زیادہ ثواب ملے(بعض شہرت کے لئے بھی کرتے ہیں) جبکہ ہمیں رسول اللّٰہ ﷺ نے خبر دے دی کہ ایسا کرنے میں کوئی ثواب نہیں ملے گا۔ مقصد شہرت ہو تو پھر حج وبال جان ہے۔
جو اللّٰہ اور اس کے رسول سے محبت کرتا ہے اور اپنے حج کو حج مبرور اور مقبول بنانا چاہتا ہے وہ آپ ﷺ کی طرح حج کا فریضہ انجام دے گا بلکہ آپ نے ہمیں حکم بھی دیا ہے کہ تم مجھ سے حج کا طریقہ سیکھو چنانچہ حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں:
رأيتُ النبيَّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ يرمي على راحلتِه يومَ النَّحرِ، ويقول :لِتأْخذوا مناسكَكم . فإني لا أدري لعلِّي لا أحُجُّ بعدَ حَجَّتي هذه.(صحيح مسلم:1297)
ترجمہ: *میں نے نبی ﷺ کو دیکھا آپ قربانی کے دن اپنی سواری پر (سوار ہو کر) کنکریاں مار رہے تھے اور فرما رہے تھے : تمھیں چاہئے کہ تم اپنے حج کے طریقے سیکھ لو ،میں نہیں جا نتا شاید اس حج کے بعد میں (دوبارہ ) حج نہ کر سکوں۔*

رسول اللّٰہ ﷺ نے مدینہ سے مکہ سفر بھی سواری پر کیا تھا بلکہ آپ نے حج کی ادائیگی بھی سواری پر ہی کی تھی جیسا کہ مذکورہ بالا حدیث میں بھی ذکر ہے۔ 

یہاں یہ بات بھی سمجھ لیں کہ عبادت کا مقصود ہرگز انسانی بدن کو تکلیف پہنچانا نہیں ہے چاہے نماز ہو ، روزہ ہو یا حج ۔ہاں اگر عبادات کی انجام دہی میں مشقت برداشت کرنی پڑتی ہے جیسے طواف کرتے ہوئے، سعی کرتے ہوئے تو انسان کو اس تکلیف پر اجر ملے گا لیکن اگر کوئی خود سے تکلیف مول لے تو اس پر اجر نہیں ہے ۔میری اس بات کو سمجھنے کے لئے یہ حدیث بھی ملاحظہ فرمائیں جس میں ہے کہ ایک شخص دھوپ میں کھڑا ہونے کی نذر مانتا ہے۔

عنِ ابنِ عبَّاسٍ قالَ : بينما النَّبِيُّ صلَّى اللَّه عليه وسلم يخطبُ إذا هوَ برجلٍ قائمٍ في الشَّمسِ فسألَ عنْهُ قالوا هذا أبو إسرائيلَ نذرَ أن يقومَ ولاَ يقعدَ ولاَ يستظلَّ ولاَ يتَكلَّمَ ويصومَ. قالَ مروهُ فليتَكلَّم وليستظلَّ وليقعد وليتمَّ صومَهُ(صحيح أبي داود:3300)
ترجمہ: *عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خطبہ دے رہے تھے کہ اسی دوران آپ کی نظر ایک ایسے شخص پر پڑی جو دھوپ میں کھڑا تھا آپ نے اس کے متعلق پوچھا، تو لوگوں نے بتایا: یہ ابواسرائیل ہے اس نے نذر مانی ہے کہ وہ کھڑا رہے گا بیٹھے گا نہیں، نہ سایہ میں آئے گا، نہ بات کرے گا، اور روزہ رکھے گا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اسے حکم دو کہ وہ بات کرے، سایہ میں آئے اور بیٹھے اور اپنا روزہ پورا کرے۔*

*خلاصہ کلام یہ ہے* کہ سواری چھوڑ کر کسی مسلمان کے لئے درست نہیں ہے کہ وہ اپنے ملک سے پاپیادہ ،پیدل مکہ مکرمہ کا سفر کرے اور حج کا فریضہ انجام دے ، اس عمل سے ہم سب کے پیارے حبیب محمد ﷺ نے منع فرمایا ہے اس لئے ہم آپ کی سنت پر عمل کرتے ہوئے آسانی کا راستہ اختیار کریں جیسا کہ آپ امت کے لئے ہمیشہ دو معاملوں میں آسانی کا راستہ اختیار فرماتے اور امت کو مشقت سے بچاتے ۔ 

*ابن ماجہ کی ایک حدیث سے غلط فہمی نہ پیدا ہو* کہ رسول اور اصحاب رسول نے مدینہ سے مکہ کا پیدل سفر کیا ،

حقیقت یہ ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اپنی سواری قصواء پرسفر کیا،ہاں بعض صحابہ سواری نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے پیدل بھی حج میں شریک تھے، یہی مفہوم سورہ حج کی ستائیسویں آیت کا ہے کہ جس کے پاس سواری ہوگی وہ سوار ہوکر آئیں گے اور جس کے پاس سواری نہیں ہوگی وہ پاپیادہ آئیں گے جبکہ آج سواری کا مسئلہ نہیں ہےاس لئے جان جوکھم میں ڈالنے کی بجائے سہولت کا راستہ اختیار کیا جائے۔
